Check out the interview I did with Dai Yoshihara for Lat34.com. I’m happy with how it came out and Dai was amazed that we know who Razor Ramon Hard Gay is.
If you are not familiar with Dai, here is some of his driving:

Liam’s New Band = Oasis minus Noel
November 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I directly copied this from pitchfork:
In the middle of an Italian radio interview aimed at promoting his Pretty Green clothing line, former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher revealed that he’s currently working on music with all of his old Oasis band mates not named Noel. (Via Billboard.) Their new band, however, won’t be called Oasis. “Oasis is done,” he reiterated, expressing a long-overdue and now factual sentiment.
In the interview, he also mentioned that his new band should start gigging “in a couple of months” and that the end of Oasis climaxed with a guitar smashing session between him and his brother. (Via NME.) Would you expect anything less?
I think Noel is going to fair much better than Liam after all the dust clears from the break up. Who knows though maybe Liam will pull something out of his uni-brow and surprise me.

DJ AM Chairty Shoe Auction
November 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

According to Cocoperez.com, AM had like 800 pairs of kicks at the time of his death, all vintage and rare. He was at undefeated on that one “Entourage” episode. The chairty that was set up after his death is auctioning them off on Ebay. I don’t know what the prices are going to be like but maybe some deals and you know your $$ is going to a good cause.
The auction starts 11/15/09 at 4:30 pst at http://ebay.com/djamshoes

Mike posted a story on Lat today and decided to use this pic.
Pure genius because it looks like Vern Troyer going to prom.
To read Mike’s story click here. Read the story it’s as funny as the pic, plus it’s pretty much true.

Rian Johnson/The Brothers Bloom
November 12, 2009 · Leave a Comment

There is a movie that came out this year that not to many people have heard of called ” The Brothers Bloom”. Only film nerds like myself were really aware of this film and I have been trying to spread the word.
The film stars Adrien Brody, Mark Ruffello, and Rachel Weiss; Brody and Ruffello play the title characters Stephen and Bloom Bloom. The brothers are con artists that have traveled their whole lives helping people part with their money in exciting and dramatic ways. Penelope (Rachel Weiss) is a eccentric millionaire who becomes their next mark; and magic ensues.

Microsoft COFEE
November 8, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This is the single greatest piece of software piracy ever, I think I love it because it was stolen from law enforcement and nothing is funnier than when a criminal steals the cops car and escapes with it. People are going to reek havoc with this.
This is from Gizmodo and their post can be seen here:
Apparently Microsoft’sCOFEE software that helps law enforcement grab data from password protected or encrypted sources is leaking all over the internet. So not only can you steal the software, but break the law by using it too.
Yep, it’s all out there on the internet, but if you use it to grab private data from someone else’s computer chances are you’re in for a world of legal hurt. It’s one of the few pieces of software I can think of where the subsequent use is more illegal than the act of downloading it.
But I know it’s not the only one. What else can you guys come up with?
God bless bit torrents!
